These are some glass repairs I am doing near Dollis Hill this morning. I restored this Edwardian panel a few years back but today there are 3 small breaks in it that hspoened more recently.
Here is a panel I removed the other day. This has suffered quite a bit of damage mostly to the lower half. The other photo is of the panel on the opposite side and how it would have looked originally. The glass is typical of the Edwardian era and although there is a reproduction out for the bubble type glass (hammered) it's not as good as the original stuff. Luckily I have some reclaimed stuff from my local glazier for this one. www.duckduckgo.com
This is a door panel that I removed some time ago. It has suffered some criminal damage and even though it's badly bowed most of the glass is still there. I have since striped it all of its old lead, cleaned the glass and I'm now rebuilding it today. Keep you updated on end result.
