North London stained glass repairs

Some more repairs in Finchley yesterday morning.

Here is a panel I removed the other day. This has suffered quite a bit of damage mostly to the lower half. The other photo is of the panel on the opposite side and how it would have looked originally. The glass is typical of the Edwardian era and although there is a reproduction out for the bubble type glass (hammered) it's not as good as the original stuff. This is a door panel that I removed some time ago. It has suffered some criminal damage and even though it's badly bowed most of the glass is still there. I have since striped it all of its old lead, cleaned the glass and I'm now rebuilding it today. Keep you updated on end result.

I removed this panel on sat and it need a full overhauled due to the lead bowing inwards. The only way to solve this is to take it apart clean the glass and rebuild the whole panel. Process takes a few days to complete. http://www.timeout.com/london/things-to-do/hampstead-area-guide

This panel is originally from an old pub somewhere near Bristol last time I checked. Today I am restoring a number of them to put back into a house not far from Muswell Hill.
